Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you and Sellixy. They apply to the Sellixy website, product listings, digital crochet pattern files, customer accounts, order communications, downloads, support interactions, and related services.

You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Where you purchase on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind them to these Terms.

Eligibility and customer accounts

You must be legally permitted to make an online purchase in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or legal guardian must make or approve the purchase.

If customer accounts are available, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity carried out through your account. Please notify Sellixy promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

We may request reasonable information to verify an order, prevent fraud, restore access, or protect an account. We may suspend accounts used fraudulently, unlawfully, abusively, or in breach of these Terms.

Digital crochet pattern products

Sellixy products are digital files, generally supplied in PDF format. Unless a product listing expressly states otherwise, your purchase does not include a physical item, a finished crochet product, yarn, hooks, stuffing, accessories, a printed booklet, or shipping.

Product information

We aim to describe each pattern accurately, including available information about skill level, terminology, materials, measurements, and included instructions. Screen colours, yarn choices, tension, hook size, personal technique, and substitutions may affect the appearance or dimensions of your finished project.

Orders, prices, taxes, and payments

Prices are shown in United States Dollars (USD) unless the website or checkout clearly states another currency. Your card issuer, bank, payment provider, or marketplace may apply exchange rates or additional charges that are outside Sellixy’s control.

Product prices, discounts, bundles, coupon codes, and promotional offers may change before an order is completed. The total price presented at checkout is the amount payable, subject to any tax, currency conversion, or processor information shown there.

Payment must be made using an authorised payment method offered at checkout. A submitted order may be declined or cancelled where payment fails, fraud is suspected, a product is unavailable, or an obvious pricing, listing, or technical error has occurred. Where payment has already been captured for a cancelled order, we will arrange an appropriate reversal or refund.

Digital delivery, downloads, and file access

Once payment is successfully completed, download access may be supplied through the order confirmation page, an order email, or your Sellixy customer account. Delivery timing can be affected by payment verification, email filtering, security checks, or temporary technical issues.

• Use a correct and accessible email address during checkout.
• Check spam, junk, promotions, and filtered folders for the order email.
• Save purchased files securely after downloading them.
• Do not share download links, account credentials, or purchased files.
• Follow any download limit or expiry information displayed at checkout or in your account.

For genuine access problems, use our Download Help page or email support with your order number and checkout email address. We may verify ownership of the order before restoring access or providing a replacement file.

Personal-use licence

When you purchase a Sellixy pattern, Sellixy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable licence to use the purchased file for your own personal crochet projects, subject to these Terms and any additional conditions shown on the relevant product page.

• You may download and save the file for your own use.
• You may print a reasonable number of copies for your personal crafting reference.
• You may make the project for yourself or as a personal gift.
• You must retain copyright, branding, and ownership notices included in the file.

Purchasing a pattern does not transfer copyright, design rights, trademark rights, source files, or ownership of the pattern or its creative content to you.

Prohibited uses of patterns and website content

Unless Sellixy gives you prior written permission, you must not:

• Copy, email, message, upload, publish, post, or redistribute a purchased pattern file.
• Resell, sublicense, exchange, rent, gift, transfer, or include the digital file in another product.
• Share a download link, customer account, or order access with another person.
• Remove or alter copyright notices, watermarks, branding, or ownership information.
• Translate, adapt, reproduce, or modify a pattern for redistribution or resale.
• Use a Sellixy file in a course, membership, workshop handout, pattern bundle, kit, or commercial download.
• Claim Sellixy text, instructions, images, illustrations, photographs, or designs as your own.
• Use scraping, bots, automated extraction, data mining, or similar methods to copy website or product content.
• Use the website to distribute malware, interfere with security, attempt unauthorised access, or conduct unlawful activity.

Refunds, returns, and cancellation rights

Sellixy products are supplied digitally and cannot be physically returned. Once an order is completed and access to the digital file has been provided, refunds and cancellations are generally unavailable, except where required by applicable law or where Sellixy approves a limited exception.

We may review requests involving duplicate charges, an accidental duplicate purchase of the same pattern, a verified technical failure on our side, or a damaged or incomplete file that we cannot replace. We may first offer download assistance, restored access, or a working replacement.

Intellectual property rights

The Sellixy name, logo, website design, product pages, pattern files, instructions, photographs, illustrations, graphics, text, downloads, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Sellixy and may be protected by copyright, trademark, design-right, database-right, and other intellectual-property laws.

You may view the website and use purchased files only as expressly permitted by these Terms. No other licence or permission is granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.

Third-party services and external links

Sellixy may rely on third parties for hosting, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, security, account features, or marketplace services. Those providers may apply their own terms and privacy policies to their services.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not mean that Sellixy controls or endorses every external page. You are responsible for reviewing the terms, privacy practices, and security of third-party services you choose to use.

Website availability and changes to products

We aim to keep sellixy.online, product pages, checkout, accounts, and downloads operating reliably, but we cannot promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available access.

We may maintain, update, correct, remove, suspend, or discontinue website content, products, promotions, download methods, account features, or other services where reasonably necessary. Where practical, we will assist verified customers who experience a genuine problem accessing a completed purchase.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Crochet patterns are creative guides. Your finished project may vary because of yarn, materials, hook size, tension, skill level, substitutions, personal modifications, device or printer settings, and how you interpret or follow the instructions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sellixy is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from your use of the website, a pattern, a digital file, or a third-party service. Sellixy’s aggregate liability relating to a particular purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing limits mandatory consumer remedies for digital content that is faulty or not as described.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to an account, download, or website feature where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, payment abuse, unauthorised sharing, unlawful conduct, security risk, harassment, or a material breach of these Terms.

Termination does not grant permission to retain, distribute, or exploit Sellixy content in breach of the licence. Provisions concerning payment, intellectual property, prohibited use, disclaimers, liability, governing law, and dispute resolution continue where their nature requires.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.

Where legally permitted, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or your use of Sellixy. If you are a consumer, this clause does not prevent you from relying on mandatory rights or bringing a claim in another court where applicable consumer law allows it.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact Sellixy so both sides can attempt to resolve the issue reasonably and in good faith.

General contractual terms

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the applicable product listing, Privacy Policy, Refund & Returns Policy, and any checkout terms, form the agreement relating to your use of Sellixy and your purchase.

Severability

If a court or authority finds part of these Terms unlawful or unenforceable, that part will be interpreted or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining terms will continue.

No waiver

A delay or failure to enforce a term does not waive the right to enforce it later. Any waiver must be clear and applies only to the specific circumstances for which it is given.

Assignment

You may not transfer your account, order, download licence, or rights under these Terms without Sellixy’s prior written consent. Sellixy may transfer its rights and obligations as part of a lawful business sale, restructuring, or service transition, provided your mandatory rights are not reduced.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in products, website features, checkout systems, business operations, legal requirements, or customer-support processes. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes apply from the date they are posted unless a later date is stated. Terms applying to a completed purchase will not be changed retroactively in a way that removes mandatory legal rights.
